Hilden, Thomas “Tom”
Found peace on Friday December 16th, 2022, at the age of 82. Loving husband of Margurette. Special dad of Wendi (Ken), and Beckie (Erik) Pries. Proud grandpa of Joey (Emily), Sarah (Sam), Emily and Christopher.
Tom was born in Laurium, Michigan May 14, 1940, the son of Alex and Ann (nee Lilja) Hilden. He graduated from Calumet High School Class of 1958. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the City of Milwaukee after 33 years of service with the Bureau of Electrical Services.
He is further survived by his sister Joyce (Chuck) Grapentine of Madison and sister-in-law Shirley Hilden of Waukesha. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bob, George, James and William and sisters Barbara, Marian, and Kathy.
Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping in his youth and in later years became an avid metal detector. Many summer vacations were spent in Door County along with many road trips across the country with long time friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a late date.
The family wishes to thank Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc for their compassionate care given to Tom.
