Milwaukee – Found peace December 17th, 2022 at the Elizabeth Residence with her sons Tom and Bruce at her side.

Iola Louise Bagniewski, the daughter of Elmer and Inez Beeghly, was born October 3rd, 1926 in the town of North Lake, North Dakota. Iola had 5 brothers – Harold, Johnny, James, Lawrence, and Dail and 4 sisters – Phyllis, Harriet, Shirley and Charlett. Iola was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 4 brothers and husband Bob Bagniewski. She is survived by her brother Dail Beeghly, sons Tom and Bruce Piedt, two stepsons – Gary and Greg Bagniewski, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Iola was a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, and friend who put others before herself. She loved arts and crafts and attended the Wilson Center where she spent many enjoyable hours doing what she loved. Iola worked at Where Steel in the billing department to support herself and raise he two sons. Iola was married to her second husband Bob Bagniewski on July 20th, 1973. Bob and Iola spent many enjoyable hours with family and friends at their cottage at Lake Lucerne near Wautoma, WI.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, from 12-1pm at Heritage Funeral Homes (4800 S. 84th St. Greenfield) with a memorial service at 1pm.
