Shamik S. Patel

Shamik S. Patel was born in Fontana, California on July 9, 1979 to Shivabhai and Kantaben Patel. He unexpectedly passed away on Monday, March 29 at the age of 41. He was brother to older sisters, Sharmistha and Shilpa and younger sister, Roopalee. Shamik was husband to Yogita and dad to little Siya. He also leaves behind his great aunt, Jadiba, cousins Bharat, Ramila, Suresh, Ashmita and so many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Shamik grew up in La Verne, California and at the age of 28 he moved to Wisconsin to pursue entrepreneurship with his family. During this time, he learned a lot and grew into the man we know today. Shamik has touched so many hearts because of his patience, dedication, sense of humor and loving nature.
He was always ready to lend a hand or offer a shoulder to lean on. Shamik had an old soul with the heart of a child. He listened so intently, gave sound advice, and laughed so boisterously.

A celebration of Shamik’s life will be held on Saturday, April 3rd at Heritage Funeral Homes at 16880 W. National Ave in New Berlin, Wisconsin, 53151 and streamed via Facebook Live from 10am – 12pm CST.
