Jean Hulbert
May 19, 1936 – April 3,2021

CALEDONIA – Jean A. Hulbert, age 84, of Caledonia, passed away on April 3rd, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born May 19, 1936 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Albert and Sylvia Van Valin (nee Kingston). She grew up in Caldwell, Wisconsin, and attended school in Waterford. On July 31, 1953, she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Keith F. Hulbert. They enjoyed a loving marriage for 67 years. Jean worked as a cook for the Racine Unified School District for 27 years. She was a member of Raymond United Church of Christ. Loving mother of Mike (Anne) Hulbert, Vicki (Steven) Stein and Jeff (Sue) Hulbert. Cherished grandma of Brad, Jennifer, and Kristen. Dear sister to June Henze.

Jean loved to shop, get ‘dolled up’ and was an avid fan of Wisconsin sports and Hollywood glitz and glamour. She enjoyed several vacations with her husband, and life-long friends, Dick and Darlene Laux. She also enjoyed relaxing and unwinding ‘Up North’ in St. Germain where she was always on the lookout for eagles, loons and deer. She especially loved spending holiday time with family and sharing her love by preparing a fantastic feast. Her mashed potatoes and deviled eggs are going to be missed as much as her.

A private visitation to take place at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (9200 S. 27th Street, Oak Creek) with burial to follow at Caldwell Cemetery.

A special thank you to the staff at Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care for the care and compassion shown to the family as she was welcomed into the arms of God. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://www.alz.org/).
