Rosalind I. Radomski
(nee Dahlquist)
Rosalind was born to life on October 4, 1932, and was born to Eternal Life February 6, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund C. Radomski. She was also preceded in death by her parents Otto “Kelly” and Irene (nee Le Pine) Dahlquist; sisters/brothers-in-law Mary (Roger) Welch and Eileen (John) Delaney; and her niece Christine Clark. Rosalind was beloved “Aunt Rosie” to Kathleen Stairker, Theresa (Robert) Hansen, Daniel (Jane) Welch, Gerald (Donna) Welch, Thomas (Kathleen) Delaney, Barbara (Robert) Trinkl, the late Nancy (Gerald) Stuhr. She was also the very good friend of Ellyn Klug and is further survived by many and much-loved great nieces & great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, other relatives, and many good and dear friends – especially her Crestview Apartment family.
She was a dedicated employee of Pabst Brewery, retiring after 42 years of faithful service. Her strong work ethic, reliability, and gentle presence earned her the respect and affection of all who worked with her.
Known by many as “the sweetest lady,” she had a way of making people smile simply by thinking of her. Her Catholic faith and her family were the most important parts of her life. Though she never had children, she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She delighted in babysitting them and would often sing to them in her beautiful voice.
Her faith guided her life in countless ways. She served for many years as a lector at Immaculate Conception Church in Bay View and generously brought Communion to homebound seniors. When her sister Eileen needed to take a leave of absence from being the church secretary, Rosalind stepped into the position seamlessly to ensure the parish continued to run smoothly until Eileen’s return.
She embraced life’s simple joys. A devoted Milwaukee Brewers fan, she could easily rattle off player statistics. She loved crossword puzzles and card games—playing sheepshead at Crestview and faithfully enjoying Tuesday Rummy games with her niece Barb. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling, often with nieces or nephews, visiting places such as Albuquerque, New Mexico, Virginia, New York, and Florida.
Music and movies brought her great comfort and happiness. She especially loved instrumental music, religious selections, and Barbara Streisand. Classic films held a special place in her heart, particularly musicals like The Sound of Music, The Music Man, and Mary Poppins. She watched the Hallmark Channel and Christmas movies year-round.
She also enjoyed her favorite treats and traditions: Dove dark chocolate, chocolate-covered raisins, salmon every Friday, and popcorn—always with plenty of butter.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her deep faith, her generosity, and the love she so freely gave to her family and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Immaculate Conception Church are appreciated.
