Was born into eternal life on October 26, 2020 at the age of 93 years. Loving husband of the late Jeanne (nee Brunner). Dear father of Mark (the late Sharon) Hamrick, Julie (Jane Cliff) Hamrick, Jan (Morten Lindstad) Treolo, Chris Hamrick and Cory Hamrick. Cherished grandfather of Alex, Rick, Sarah, Nolan, Emily, Ben, Zachary, Rebecca and Elsie. Great-grandfather of Niko, Ulysses, George, Robert, and Everett. Brother of Laverne and Glendyl (the late Gigi).
Grandpa Tractor loved his family, friends, trees, being outside at the family cabin, rebuilding heavy equipment and traveling. He will be remembered for his warmth, quick wit, empathy, endless curiosity, sense of adventure and work ethic.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Homes (9200 S. 27th St. Oak Creek) starting at 2pm. There will be a brief memorial service at 3pm followed by more socializing and pie.
Our sympathy to the family of Richard. Ben worked with Richard at Ladish and have kept in touch since retirement. Had many same interests. Ben and Emily Hlavinka.
Cousin Rich was a joy. He was kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. I spoke to him only
a couple times a year as we aged but he was always cordial . I will miss him
Rich & Jean opened their doors to me when I was stationed at Great Lakes. We had some excellent times and I will miss seeing them. RIP dear cousins.
