Pauline K. Jung (nee Greil)
Pauline K. Jung (nee Greil) age 91, Muskego. Loving wife of the late Norman. Passed away peacefully surrounded in love by her family on February 15th, 2026. She was born July 2nd, 1934, to Peter and Mathilda (nee Mueller) Greil.
Pauline is survived by her children Jeffrey (Marjorie), Debra (Dale) Anderson, and Dale (Liz). Grandchildren Jordan (Kasey) Jung, Blake (Chris) Jung-Horsman, Adam (Kayla) Hoefs, Austin (fiancée Jolyssa) Hoefs. Great-grandchildren Willa and Winter Jung, Rocco Jung-Horsman, and Brohdee and Jaxen Hoefs. Sisters-in-law, Min Greil, Patricia Jung, and Joan Dibb. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, sisters Anna, Emma, Gertrude, Helen and Clara, and brothers William, Joseph, Paul, Rudolph, John, Lawrence and other relatives.
Born in Waterford, Wisconsin, the youngest of twelve children, Pauline was raised on her family’s farm where she developed the strong work ethic, resilience, and deep-rooted values that guided her throughout her life. She graduated from Waterford High School and, on September 10, 1954, married the love of her life, Norman Jung, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford — beginning a devoted partnership that would shape the years to come.
Pauline dedicated herself to both her family and her work. She was employed at Horner Farms in Wind Lake, later at Chain Belt in Milwaukee, and went on to serve as a Residence Assistant at Southern Wisconsin Center in Union Grove.
She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures: tending her garden, preserving her harvest through canning, and gathering around the table for spirited games of Sheep’s Head and dominos. A proud Wisconsin sports fan, Pauline faithfully cheered on the Brewers, Packers, and Bucks, and even played in a baseball league herself during her years at Chain Belt.
Above all, Pauline’s greatest love was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, taking immense pride in watching them grow. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be remembered always.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff at Stair Crest for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to Pauline. Their support brought comfort not only to her, but to all who loved her.
They are also deeply thankful to the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters for the friendship, encouragement, and spiritual companionship they shared with Pauline.
A very special thank you is given to her niece, Marsha, whose loving care and steadfast compassion meant more than words can express. Pauline also held a special place in her heart for Jordyn, her physical therapist she met following her stroke. Through Jordyn’s patience, encouragement, and genuine kindness, Pauline found renewed confidence and strength in herself.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 from 10am to 11:45am at Saint Clare Catholic Church (7616 Frits St. Wind Lake Wi). Mass of Christian Burial will take place immediately following visitation at 12pm.
