Mary Ruscher
(nee Baemmert)
Mary Ruscher passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, at the age of 78.
Born on December 21, 1947, in West Milwaukee, Mary was the beloved wife of Richard and a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She attended St. Mary’s Academy and spent her life building meaningful connections with the people she loved most.
Mary found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially tending to her beloved flower garden. She had a remarkable knowledge of plants and flowers, knowing the details of every plant she cared for. Her garden was a reflection of the time, patience, and love she poured into it, and it was a special place where her passion for nature could shine.
Mary was a proud mother to Thomas and a loving grandmother to Dylan. She also cherished her family, including her daughter-in-law, Karen, and her siblings, Janet, Jim, Joe, and Robert. The love she shared with her family will remain a lasting part of her memory.
Mary was preceded in death by her son, Thomas; her brother, Jerry; her sisters, Jeanie and Bernadette; and her parents, Eugene and Bernadette.
As those who loved Mary remember her, may they find comfort in the memories they shared, the beauty she brought into the world, and the lasting impression she leaves in the hearts of her family. Just as a garden continues to bloom, the love and memories of Mary will continue to grow in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a future date.
Our condolences to Dick and his family.
Mary will be greatly missed.
Not only her friendship, flower skills, dinner parties (good cook), always a great fishing partner. We would say if the fish weren’t biting (bite my line).
All visiting time in Florida and many hours on the pontoon.
Always a great sense of humor and loved her music.
Mary was an enormous part of our lives.

Uncle Dick,
Tom and I are so sorry to hear about Aunt Mary. Though we didn’t get to visit often at all, I remember Aunt Mary well. Especially your wedding! She was a wonderful lady. She endured so much and still came out on top.
May God rest her soul and give you peace.
We do love you.
Uncle Dick,
Willis and I are so very sorry to hear this news! Hope you are doing okay. I know I did not get the chance to come visit. I do remember Aunt Mary as a very loving and caring person. Bernadette is my communion name after aunt Mary! We will miss her as much as you do!
Love you much Uncle Dick!

I loved Mare Bare so much. There is a hole in the universe with her gone. We had so much fun when we got the chance to do so especially with Barbie & Moe.
God bless your family Dick.
We were very sorry to hear this sad news of Mary’s passing. It was always a pleasure to share friendly conversations with Mary, as we shared all-you-can eat dinners at Amore’s. Our last remembrance of Mary is her good spirit and smile.
Our deepest sympathy to your family.
