Niederfeld, Joy Marie
(nee Spensley) Passed away peacefully on March 23rd, 2016, age 87. Beloved wife of the late Erwin. Dear sister of Gloria (Robert) Donovan, sister-in-law of Margaret (the late Dick) Niederfeld. Loving aunt of Ken (Nancy) Donovan, Phil (Anne) Donovan, Rob (Kathy) Donovan, Lynn (Howard) Ford, Dawn (John) Krzeminski, Rick (Linda) Niederfeld, and Jim (Carole) Niederfeld. Very special friend of Rebekah Lockwood. Also survived by many great-nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place at ST. MATTHIAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9306 W. Beloit Rd, on Wednesday, March 30th, from 9:30am-10:45am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Joy was a longtime dedicated employee of the Milwaukee Road Railroad. Special thanks to the Interfaith volunteers, especially Denise and Diane, and the excellent nurses and caregivers at St. Luke’s Hospital, Knisley building 5th floor.
