Woida, Cathie Ann (Collins), a long-time resident of Milwaukee, died Tuesday the 22nd of March, 2016 at the age of 74.Beloved Wife of Paul J. Woida, of Milwaukee. Loving Mother of Michael (Tonya), of Indianapolis, IN. Devoted Grandmother of Benjamin and Abby of Indianapolis, IN. Cathie is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Born in 1941, in Milwaukee, Cathie attended Mercy High School and then worked as a dental assistant for over 45 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed buying and selling antiques, creating craft projects and decorating her home for the holidays throughout the year. Cathie also served as the longtime Secretary/Treasurer of the Milwaukee Ileostomy and Colostomy Association (MICA)
Cathie loved to vacation in Door County, WI., enjoyed good food and socializing and especially liked playing card and dice games with family and friends. She also enjoyed attending musical and theatre productions. Cathie had an infectious smile that could light up a room.
Visitation will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3100 S. 41st Street, Milwaukee, WI on Wednesday, March 30th from 9 to 10 am with Mass of Christian burial to follow. Procession to Mount Olivet Cemetery, 3801 W. Morgan Av., Milwaukee, WI for grave site services will follow.
