To my dear Family: I want you to know that I will be with you today in my thoughts & prayers…praying for your strength to get through this sad time, & only think about the great love all of us shared with Ed. I’ve been his Auntie since the day I was born, & our family has always loved so deeply. May God be with ALL or us…..always! I love ALL of you, & sending many hugs…..With all my love & sympathy, Auntie Karen

I will always be grateful to Ed for the intricate, custom carved gun he made and gave to me after I shot my first deer with it. I have always treasured it and will be able to pass it onto my son, Matt. Eddie and I shared many deer hunting experiences.

Now I have lost the last of my three godparents. I guess I will have to do it on my own! Ed was a cool cousin, a lot like his father.

I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I do know a very special girl who loves you very much, and from what I have learned from her and the love your family had for you, tells me you are a great man and I wish I had the chance to know. RIP YOU ARE LOVED BY ALL WHO KNOWS YOU AND THOSE THAT ONLY KNOW THE KIND OF MAN YOU LIVED TO BE.
All my blessing to the Krause family.

I will never forget when I was young and “the renters” moved in next door. Ed looked so I scary but soon he was teasing us and goofing around with us. I thought he was so cool when he would take his motorcycle up and down our street because it was only once in a while. Such a sweet man. RIP Eddie.
