So I just finished crying AND laughing reading through all these wonderful memories. Every one of them is a perfect tribute to this tiny little lady that obviously had a large impact in so many lives. She also had a saucy little sassy side that you couldn’t help but love! Some of my fondest memories are her house near Mitchell Street where George and I could walk right out the back gate and play in the Allen Bradley parking lot. Aunt Chuck would be in the kitchen visiting with friends or family or just hanging out with the kids. Our family picnics at Wilson Park are also cherished memories. You did NOT want to get in the way of this little dynamo playing volleyball or mess up (whether on her team or the opposing team) because she would call you out! Another silly memory is driving down Bluemound Road in the middle of winter with snow piled high on all sides. Passing a turn lane, I spot this tiny little lady standing in the slush waiting for a chance to cross (she walked everywhere). Aye! I make a quick u-turn, beep a couple times until she spots me, smiles real big and climbs in. As I’m dropping her off at Brookfield Square she says “so same time tomorrow?” laughing all the time. I will treasure these memories always and look forward to hearing her laugh again when I get to heaven! I love you Aunt Chuckie, you will forever hold a special place in my heart.

It looks like I have time to write you before I leave for Milwaukee. I look forward to seeing all the family but so sad not to see her smiling face. I read all the wonderful words from your family and friends. All so true. Just want to add that you always have been my hero. Your a great (older) sister! Just had to get that in. We always have been close even though we did not see each other that much. But every time we were together we always laughed so much and had a great time. I don’t remember us getting mad except on time I called and we got into it about politics. I think you hung up on me. After about five minutes I called back and said and furthermore!! We both laughed. She said she was going to call me but I said yeah sure, your to stubborn . So many things come to mind. But I need to leave shortly. So , I love you sis, your the best. And dam it now I am the oldest!!

My beautiful guardian angel, grandma I miss you everyday. I know your watching over us saying everything will be ok. You fought til God told you it was time. You were always the best grandma! I will never forget when we would go to the Mitchell park domes and walk where our feet would take us. You were always the life of the party. You kept this family together.
