John Daniel Jensen

John Daniel Jensen, 80, of Racine, passed away at Ascension-All Saints Hospital on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

He was born in Hustisford, Wisconsin on May 30, 1945, the son of the late Norval and Doris (nee Bare) Jensen.

John attended and graduated from Fort Atkinson Vocational School.  As an avid photographer he owned several dozen cameras.  He often carried one of them with him wherever he went and loved to take pictures mostly of his friends. He also loved steam engine trains. He was so excited when his friend Richard took him on a steam engine train ride.

Over the years, John worked at several food stores, including Sentry, Jewel and Super Saver in Racine.

Surviving are 6 cousins: Deborah Miller of Jefferson, WI; Naomi Punzel of Lake Mills, WI; Stan Conrow of Beloit, WI; Ed Conrow of Florida; and Daniel Bare. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

 A committal service will be held Monday, December 8th, 2025 at 2 pm at WESTLAWN MEMORIAL PARK (9000 Washington Ave. Racine, WI).
