Passed away surrounded by his children on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, age 78 years. Dear father of Scott Boers, Shelley(Roger) Poweleit, and Craig Boers. Grandfather of Caitlin, Carly, Alyson, Ryan, and Marisa. Loving son of LaVerne. Brother of Karen and Sharon(Dale). Special friend of Jackie. Preceded in death by his father Edgar and his two brothers-in-law, ERobb and Eddie.
A Memorial visitation will be held Monday, December 22nd from 4-6PM at the Funeral Home, 9200 S. 27th St.
David worked for many years as a mechanic for the Oak Creek Police Dept. He was a hard worker who instilled a strong work ethic in his children. His “happy place” was being on his riding lawnmower and ensuring everyone in his family was taken care of.
Our condolences to the Boers family. We are so sorry for your loss. We have many happy memories of David and the rest of the family. David sold me my first car many many years ago and I just loved that car!!! ( a green and white ford comet) Also renting our first place across the street from the family.
