It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joann Middleman beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on November 28, 2025, at the age of 73. She is survived by her siblings of Marianne, Fran(Leon),Vincenette, Joseph (Marla), Deena (Michael), and Annette (Brian). She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Emanuella, brother Cono,(Shirley) and brother in law Wally and John. She is survived by her husband Robert, children Steven (Darlene), Mark (Nicky), Stacie (Phil), grandchildren Julia, Meghan, Jack, Alexis, Zoey, Riley, Michael, Luke, great-grandchild Samuel, other loving relatives and friends.

Born on June 6, 1951 in Milwaukee WI, Joann grew into a women known for her kindness, strength, and the way she made every person feel seen and cared for. She devoted her life to family, humor, and an endless well of love. Her home was a place of warmth, where meals were shared, stories were told, and everyone felt welcome.

Joann worked for Kohl’s Food store as a Bakery Manager for 25+years. She was always admired for her dedication. Her hobbies included arts and crafts and gardening outside. Christmas was always her favorite holiday and loved putting together her extensive Christmas village.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing her love lives on in every life she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, December 19th from 2-4PM at Heritage Funeral Homes, 9200 S. 27th St.  A Time of Sharing will follow at 4PM.

    Joann always treated me one of her grandchildren when I always came over with her granddaughter Meghan, I will truly miss her so much every time we walked through the door she always had a big smile on her face and I would always give her a big hug and kiss she always made me felt part of her family I will truly miss her!♥️

    She was always easy going! I was always welcome to spend the night even if it meant getting woken up by her grandchildren in the morning.
