Carol L. Johnson (nee Weifenbach)

Carol L. Johnson, age 84, went home to the Lord on August 18, 2026. Born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Carol was a loving wife, devoted mother, and proud Nana.

Carol married her beloved husband, Larry, in January 1962, and they shared 64 years of marriage together. She was a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family and helping raise her grandchildren.

Carol found joy in gardening, growing vegetables and flowers, feeding the birds, and listening to her favorite music, especially Elvis Presley. She loved bringing family together for gatherings, cooking good meals, sharing stories, looking at old pictures, and laughing about the memories they made together.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Bill; her parents, William and Loretta (nee Scheder) Weifenbach; and her brother, Kenneth.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; her children, Bruce (Sarah) and Barbara (Kevin) Thomas; and her grandchildren, Richard (Kate) Thomas and Cassandra Thomas.

Carol’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished the close, supportive family she grew up in and carried that same love and togetherness into the family she created. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
