Alexander Reynaldo Velazquez
Alexander Reynaldo Velazquez was born on October 2nd, 1991 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Our beloved Alex made his way home on Wednesday, August 6th 2025.
He is the son of Reynaldo Velazquez Jr. and Diane Maldonado-Velazquez, brother of Joe Maldonado and Margarita Velazquez. Loving father of Terrance, Amethyst Rose, and Persephone Grace and is survived by the Maldonado and Velazquez families and his close friends.
Alex was a gentle, kind, loving family member and friend. He was creative and giving, with a love for music, animation, movies, and art. He offered his heart freely, giving free hugs, a listening ear, and his time. Alex was a dedicated father to his three children, caring for them until his last breath.
Affectionately known as ‘Fluffy’, Alex was loveable, giving the people in his life a safe space to embrace him. He had a love for an eclectic range of music and concerts, attending Anime conventions and Rocky Horror Picture Shows, collecting memorabilia from television series and movies, and even writing his own short stories.
Alex will be deeply missed, but his light and kindness will live on in the heart of his loved ones.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
