Helen Marie Tellier

(nee Lyman)

Age 106, of Muskego, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 1:50 a.m. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 2, 1919 to Gerald and Marie Lyman, Helen was a faithful member of Mt. Lebanon Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and later St. Jacobi Lutheran Church in Greenfield. Helen’s devotion and gratitude to her Savior was evidenced in her service to His Church. She taught Sunday school for 33 years and was a member of the choir, Women’s Missionary Society, Seminary Auxiliary, and Altar Guild. An avid knitter and pianist, Helen used her God-given talents to proclaim His glory and bring joy to others, most recently the residents at the Tudor Oaks Retirement Community. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Arno. She is survived by her children Barbara (late Larry), Arno Jr. (Kristine), and Paul (April); her grandchildren Tiffany (Jeremy), Ryan (Whitney), Matt (Beth), Arno III (Jessica), Melissa (Jeremy), Adam (Jaimi), Josh (Mary), Benjamin (Erin), Michelle (Adam), and Ethan (Catherine); as well as 21 great-grandchildren.

Helen will be remembered for her unwavering faith in the Lord, her Christian service, her community leadership, and her deep love of her family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at St. Jacobi Lutheran Church (8605 W. Forest Home Avenue, Greenfield) with a service following.

If you so wish, memorials to Central Africa Medical Mission (CAMM) are greatly appreciated.

    My sincere sympathy, I have good memories of Helen as a neighbor kid back on 82nd street. I remember her as cheerful and kind. She was a good mother.

    We send our sympathy to Barbara, Arno, and Paul and all their families. What a wonderful and long life the Lord gave Aunt Helen. What an example of faith and grace she left for all of us.
