Virgilio
Corro

Virgilio C. “Virgil” Corro, 82, of New Berlin, Wisconsin, passed away on October 6, 2026.

Born May 16, 1944, in Cebu, Philippines, Virgil graduated from the University of the Philippines with degrees in Physics and Mathematics. In 1968, while working at NCR in Manila, he met Rosalia, the woman with whom he would build his life and family.

Virgil and Rosalia married in 1971. Later immigrated to the United States in 1973 and settled in Franklin, Wisconsin. He went on to build a successful career in IT audit, including more than 20 years with A. O. Smith before his retirement.

Outside of his professional life, Virgil had a lifelong passion for the combat arts, including martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, escrima, and target shooting. As both a fan and participant, his passion for the combat arts was one he passed down to his sons.

Virgil was the son of the late Visitacion and Meliton Corro and brother to Leila (Dan) Deano. He was a devoted husband to Rosalia and father to Joe (Terra) Corro, the late John Corro, and Jenny (Mike) Kaldor. He was the proud grandfather of Caleb, Noah, Taylor, Brianna, Bridget, Jacob, Isabella, and Zak.

His son John preceded him in death in 2009, and his family finds peace in knowing that father and son are reunited in God’s kingdom.

Virgil leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and a lifetime of memories that will remain with those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 12700 W. Howard Ave., New Berlin, Wisconsin. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.
