Tim Drought
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on October 8th, 2025, at the age of 66. Tim was the significant other of Nancy Moser for 15 wonderful years. He was the beloved son of Harold and June (née Grotte), and dear brother of Cindy (Jack) Staaden and Jeff Drought. Proud uncle of Jack (Heidi), Justin, and Jennifer (Kevin) Conway. Great-uncle of Ben and Charlie Conway.
A lifelong resident of the Caledonia and Raymond area, Tim learned everything he knew about his trade from working side by side with his father from a young age. His strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail carried through his entire life — Tim never did anything halfway and took great pride in doing every job perfectly.
Tim loved being outdoors, especially snowmobiling, and was a proud member of the Raymond Trailbreakers. He cherished his time “up north” in Wisconsin with Nancy and his family, where they spent countless hours riding snowmobiles and UTVs together. He had a knack for restoration projects — from cars and tractors to even a trail groomer — and he was known for collecting all things Arctic Cat.
Those who knew Tim will remember his willingness to lend a helping hand, whether it was tiling, remodeling, or fixing just about anything. He was always the first to offer his skills, and he never failed to check if anyone was ready for a “nightcap.”
Tim’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched, the countless friends made, and the trails he left behind.
