Susan "Sue, Susie"
Poulin

After 9 years of fighting and battling in the body that let her down, our beautiful Mom and Wife went to heaven on January 6, 2019. We are all so grateful for all the “extra” years we had with her. She fought hard for us! For more time with us! For more memories with us!

Beloved wife of John for almost 30 years. Proud and supportive mother of Kelly (Greg) Krahn, the late Dillon and Casidy Poulin. Very proud grandmother of Blaine Dillon, Brealy, Brody, Boston and Bayla Krahn. Loving daughter of Kenneth (Kathy) Dace and Carol (Richard) Krause. Sister of Michael, Daniel (Michelle) and Adam Dace. Reunited with her best friend and “sister” Becky. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 9, at Hales Corners Lutheran Church (12300 W. Janesville Rd.) from 9am until the time of memorial service at 11:00am.

For all that were blessed to have known her, know how kind and caring she was. She opened her home to anyone! Her front porch was the place to sit and chat on a beautiful summer night. She loved to cook, host and have a house full of friends and family. She was a such an attentive mother, dragging daycare kids to soccer games and always cheering us on in whatever sport or activity we decided to try. She always wanted a big family and when they couldn’t grow their family the “normal way” they adopted Casidy, whom became her little side kick for the next 23 yrs. Her Grand-babies were her pride and joy and they loved her so very much! She bragged them up to anyone who would listen. We are all so happy we can call her Mom and Grandma!

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.

Thank you to my Dad, Casidy and all her nurses at KPI Papa Inc. who battled right by her side for 9 straight years. They did all they could to keep her out of nursing homes and with her family!
