Wednesday December 3, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Irene (nee George) for 58 years of wedded bliss. Loving father of Irene C. Gordon, Deborah (Jim) Brenn, Janis (Bob) Gregory and Cheryl (fiancé James Isaacs) Wendlandt. Very proud grandfather of Heather (Mike) Albrecht, Christopher (Colby) Brenn, Brooke (Brett) Slimmer, Erik (Caela) Brenn, Nathan (fiancée Kelsey Palmer) Brenn, Jennifer Gregory, Justin Gregory, Jessica (Roger) Brossart, Nichole (fiancé Nate Vetter) Wendlandt and K.J. (fiancée Chelsea Hurd) Wendlandt. Great grandfather of Nina, Michael, Aaron, Mackenzie, Michaela, James, Elijah, Austin, Braeden, Jake, Carson, Eliana, Kate, Rhylee, Dylan, Ava, Kylie, Tyler and Paislee. Brother of Jenny Zamjahn. Brother in law of Ruth Kuklinski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Tuesday December 9, at the FUNERAL HOME from 3-5PM with a Funeral Service at 5PM. Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to Resurrection Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated. Steve was a former employee and an active union member at Ladish Co. He was also a Little Silver Lake softball fan.
