Formerly Sr. Alberta Born to Eternal Life on Friday March 12, 2010 at age 81. Survivors include the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi with whom she shared life for 61 years, her sister Sr. Bernardine Menke, OSF; her brother Arthur Joan Menke and sister-in-law Rita T. Menke.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the Congregation on Tuesday March 16th at St. Francis of Assisi Convent, 3221 S. Lake Dr. for the following: Welcoming of the body and evening prayer at 3:30 PM. Visitation from 4-6:40 PM. A Time of Remembering will be held at 6:40 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 7 PM. Contributions may be made to Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi Memorial Fund.
Sr. Rita served as the Principal of St. Mary?s Academy from 1975-1983
