Sr. Dorothy and I shared our lives for many years having taught together at St. Sebastian School. She was in Rm 207 my first year there in 1988 and I was in 206.
She prayed for our family and we did the same for her. She had a mass said when my folks died and of course, felt terrible when my husband, Tom died in 2010. We had gone to Brewer games with the staff, picnics at our principal’s home, etc. We frequently drove together wherever we needed to be.

She had relatives near Wisconsin Rapids which was my hometown. I know that we were there for her golden anniversary and I believe I met many of you.

I am disappointed that I am not able to attend her Mass and funeral. I am leaving on Tuesday for a winter break.

When I read the obit this morning, I thought about all of you and the stories she shared with me cause she really loved all of you. She felt grateful for the little ones in her life.

Please know that I will be thinking of you on Wed.

Affectionately,
Maggie Blaha
