Sister Beata was my 4th grade teacher at St. James school in Arlington Heights, Il. She was my teacher and tutor and pen pal for nearly 30 years. I attended her Jubilee back in Illinois She came to visit me in San Francisco and we spent several days sight-seeing and visiting with my family with her as our guest of honor. Sister B was the first of my mentors. I loved her irreverent humor and straightforward no nonsense advice over the years. What a treasure. I only learned of her death a few years back. So glad to have found this tribute page. I think of her often and will meet her again in Heaven. God rest her soul.
