Shirley M. Cutting

Shirley M. Cutting of Greenfield, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026. Shirley was born on February 6, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Leona and Leonard Kling.

Shirley met the love of her life, Albert Cutting, and they were married for nearly 50 years. She was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and children.

Shirley worked for many years at the downtown Milwaukee First Wisconsin Bank location. She lived a Christ centered life and shared her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In her last remaining years she was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

Shirley is survived by her loving sons James, (Ruthann), Robert, (Linda), and John Cutting; her adoring grandchildren, Kimberly, (Chris Waters), Andrew, Nicholas, (Sabrine), Allison, (Brandon Busch), Emily (Jake Clevenstine); her adoring great grandchildren Keira, Kaden, Brady Waters, Scarlet, Easton, Beckett Clevenstine, Canaan Cutting, Emery and Rhett Busch, along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, her parents, daughter-in-law Joyce, her  brothers Leonard, Calvin, Kenneth, Rodney, Randall and her sister, Virginia.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church (6802 West Forest Home Avenue in Milwaukee). The service will follow in the church at 10:30 am. Please enter the church through the Welcome Center west of the church. A special thank you to the staff at Hales Corners Care and Rehab Center and to Brighton Hospice.

In leu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. John’s Church.
