Rosemary Steinmetz

(nee Geissler) Born to Eternal Life on Friday, September 26, 2025, age 93 years. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Voldvin “Sonny” Steinmetz; children Deborah Statenzy, Jeanne (Bill) Rivest, and Thomas Steinmetz; grandchildren Roman Steinmetz and Nikki Chapman; her parents Edwin and Molly Geissler, as well as her brothers and sisters. Loving mother of Wayne (Dominga), Lavonne (Ken) Fehlhaber, Judy (Joe) Knedle, Steve, Barbara, James, Valerie (James) Degerstedt, and Dave (Alicia). Mother-in-law of Michael Statenzy. Further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other dear relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home, 9200 S. 27th Street, Oak Creek, WI 53154. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 13207 County Road G, Caledonia, WI 53108 (I-94 & Hwy. G). Interment to follow at St. Louis Church Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the Staff at Woods of Caledonia and Brighton Hospice for the excellent and compassionate care they provided for Rosemary over the past ten years and in the last weeks of her life.
