Ronald Lee Witt

Ronald Lee Witt was born in Crivitz, Wisconsin on August 26, 1937 and passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Zilber Hospice House, at the age of 88.

He was proceeded in death by his devoted wife of 63 years, Shirley Witt, his loving parents, John and Rose Witkowski, and his beloved brother, Richard Witkowski.

He is survived by his three children, Richard (Lisa), Laurie and Robert.

He was the proud grandpa of Katelyn (Matt), Brandon (and fiancé, Mikayla), Steven, Andrew (and girlfriend, Jenny) and Michael.  He was the proud great-grandpa of Bennett and Baylor.
Ronald, also affectionately known by his children as “Pops”, was a loving and very supportive Dad and Grandpa, always offering a helping hand whenever needed. He took great pride in his family and always put their needs ahead of his own.

He loved to hunt, fish and spend time boating on Minocqua Lake and in Boulder Junction with his family and friends.  He was an avid griller and could be found bundled up outside during the cold winter months making delicious meals, while sipping a brandy manhattan.

Ron worked for Security Bank for forty years, as their Senior Vice President of mortgage operations.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20th from 1:00-2:00pm in the chapel at Forest Hill Memorial Park, 3301 E. Forest Hill Avenue in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

Ronald was proud to have served his country in the US Army.

Ronald (“Pops”) will be missed by all who knew him, but our wonderful memories will remain in our hearts forever!
