Dear Barbara and girls,
Please let me offer my sincere sympathy on Roman’s passing. It’s been a number of years since I have had contact with you. It seems that the role of godparents lessens with the years, especially when they are not relatives who one may see on a regular basis. I have not, however forgotten you. Sometimes childhood memories stand out the sharpest, and I remember several celebrations which you all attended; Barbara, you and Roman particularly when you attended the 25th anniversary party we had for my parents.
I tried getting in touch with you when my dad died, but we couldn’t find a number or address that connected.
I am sorry I missed attending. My mom called me late Friday with the news, and my husband and I had to be in Oshkosh on Saturday morning to pick up the grand-daughters for a few days stay with us. Although I find this type of communication less than ideal in circumstances such as this, it is the only way I knew to get in touch with you. Once again let me extend condolences from myself and my husband, Dave. Your family is in our prayers.

Sincerely,
Kathy (Kralj) Dombrowski
