Olsen, Joanne Mary-
(nee Milarch) Sunday September 28, 2014 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Donald. Stepmother of Scott (Sandi), Steven (Miho), Mark (Marianne), and Darren. Sister of Susan Milarch. Further survived by cousins, other relatives and many good friends. Preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Mary (nee Chappell) Milarch.
Born May 17, 1947 in Milwaukee Joanne grew up in Greendale. She graduated from Greendale High School in 1965. She went on to study Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and graduated in 1969. Joanne met and married the love of her life Don in 1982 and together they owned and operated a travel agency. Joanne loved helping people find just the right trip and she and Don loved to travel and had adventures all over the world. Joanne was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and she enjoyed music and dancing. Joanne was kind and caring to everyone she met. She had a lively spirit and loved to have fun. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 to 11AM at St. LUKE’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6705 Northway, Greendale, with a Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery.
