Richard “Peno” Penoske

Passed away peacefully on October 15^th, 2026, at the age of 88. Survived by his loving wife Deandall (nee Sullivan) for 67 years. Loving father to Perry, Julee (Patrick), and Paul (Mari). Proud grandpa of Megan, Caryn (Alex) Moris, Brett (Katie), John Paul, and Kai. Great-Grandpa to Jordan, Hudson, Mason, and Brady. Further survived by many dear friends.

Richard was a proud graduate of St. John’s Cathedral, where he met the love of his life, his wife, Deandall. A proud Air Force veteran, Richard went on to serve his community with honor and dedication as a firefighter for the Milwaukee Fire Department for 31 years. His commitment to serving others reflected his strength of character and his willingness to make a difference in the lives of those around him. Richard will be remembered for his service, dedication, and the lasting impact he made on his family, friends, and community.

Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22^nd from 10am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. James Catholic Church (7219 S 27th St, Franklin Wi). In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Richard.
