Dick was born on September 10, 1935 to Jeffrey and Leona Picard in Milwaukee, WI. He married Mary (nee Weber) in 1957 and they enjoyed 54 years together before her passing in 2011. He was an Air Technician for the 128th Air Refueling Wing for 38 years, retiring with honors in 1990. As much as he enjoyed his job, he truly loved retirement! He was a man of many hobbies and enjoyed his life to the fullest. Special thanks to Dad’s wonderful neighbors, especially Craig, and thank you Polly for your love and care of Dad.

“We’ll miss you Dad.”

Thank you for remembering Dad…those really were the ‘good old day’!

…good old ‘days’!

Thank you for that reminder, Jim. We will remember his humor and focus on the good times.

Thank you for your condolences.. Dad often reminisced in the last several years and I believe we’ve heard your name a time or two in a story.

Condolences to the family. I went to Boys Tech and had Pic in several classes. He was
a good friend in high school. He graduated in 1953 a semester before me. I looked in the
1953 Boys Tech year book and he had signed my book on his picture. Those were the good old days.

I worked as an Air Technician at the 128th Air Refueling Group during the time that Dick worked there and I retired in 1985. Dick was a maintenence professional and, true to his calling, excelled in his craft. I remember Dick as easy to work with, dependable and friendly. As one of his comrades, I am saddened by his passing and wish to extend my condolences to his family.

I worked at the Refueling Group the same time Dick was employed there, only Dick retired three years prior to me. It was a pleasure to have been a part of his working years.
His humor was a great part of him, and something that I will always recall of him.
I`m sure that you, his family knew that he would not want you to cry of his departing, but just remember the good times.
