Passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 22, 2024 age 80 years.  Beloved husband of Karen (nee Lutz) for almost 55 years. Loving father of Sandy Oliver (Matthew Geldmeyer) and Steve (Heidi) Schunck.  Proud grandpa of the late Erin Oliver, Richard (Candice) Oliver, Cole Baltz and Faith Baltz. Great-grandpa of Aaden, Nevaeh, Joe, Kayla, Marianna, Conner and Jace.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Richard graduated UW-Madison in 1967 with a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.  Falk corporation, where he began his career, one of his last projects before retiring after his 45 year career was the mechanical repair of Miller Park’s roof. His love of baseball made this one of his favorite jobs. Richards love for his family and friends was his main priority in life. His hobbies included antique cars, American muscle cars, swap meets, car shows and Lionel trains, to include a few of his favorites along with Rock n Roll music and barbeques after mowing his lawn on his tractor. Richard was a retiree of the Falk Corporation.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials to Parkinsons research (parkinsons.org or michaeljfox.org) or a charity of your choice appreciated.

    Richard was a kind and loving person. He was my brother in law he had a great sense of humor he always made me laugh . I will miss him dearly. We had a great time when we went on our cruise with Karen and friends, My husband Carmen and myself. He was an amazing man and I will miss him very much. Love Sharen
