Prentiss Stewart

1963  –  2024

Born to life in Jackson Mississippi on Friday, May 24, 1963.  Born to eternal life Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the age of 60.  He is the cherished father of Shamika Johnson, Kaevon “Todd” Stewart, Demetrius Stewart and Devante Stewart.  Loving grandfather of Kaevon Stewart Jr., Josiah Parks, Kayella Stewart, and Noah Stewart. Dear brother of Felicia Stewart.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Prentiss was preceded in death by his mother Georgia Edward Stewart, brother Kenneth Earl Stewart and grandparents Edward and Mendlora Stewart.

Prentiss enjoyed riding his bike, watching crime shows on TV, and one of his favorite movies is “The Five Heartbeats”. He liked spoiling his grandchildren, took pleasure in cutting grass and he liked eating especially with family and friends
