Grandpa of Lori Mark Wildeman, Scott Lisa Oelstrom, Mark Laura Oelstrom, Dawn Schroeder, Tina Rob Arrowood, Brian Schroeder, Josh Kristine Schroeder, Janel Oelstrom, and Kevin Oelstrom. Great-grandpa of Ethan, Grace, Ben, Lizzy, Caleb, Abby, Natalie and Maddie. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, December 10th , 2011 9:30 am at the funeral home until time of FUNERAL SERVICE at 11:00 AM. Entombment Mount Olivet Cemetery. June 1940 Graduate of Boys Tech High School. WWII Army Air Force 13th Squadron Veteran, specializing in radio mechanics and radar tech knowledge. Retired employee of American Motors. H.O. Railroad Collector, E.A.A. Enthusiast, Collector of WWII Books. Avid stationary bike rider known to ride 10 miles in the morning and 10 miles in the evening and loved to track his miles. Thanks to all the caregivers at Elizabeth Residence, Franklin South and Asera Hospice for their compassionate care.
