Tuesday April 30 2013 age 90 years. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Petushek). Loving father of Thomas (Gloria), Timothy (Dawn), Terese (John) Cieslak, Tracy (Daniel) Wieselman, Todd (Harriet), Thaddeus (Patti), Trent, Tamara (Ken) Spone and Trisha (Joe) Voegtline. Proud grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Brother of Pauline Joan (Warren) Sass, the late Delores (the late Robert) Graeven, Stephen (Clementine) Ratkowski, Michael (Carol) Ratkowski, and Daniel (the late Sue) Ratkowski. Brother in law of Mary (the late Bill) Koenen. Also survived by best friend and fellow officer Mickey Polsen, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Wednesday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:30 AM at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CHURCH, 60th & Oklahoma Ave, please meet at church, followed by entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Myron was a retired Police Captain with the Milwaukee Police Dept. for 26 years and a former Police Chief in Greendale for 13 years, a WWII veteran with the 87th Division and fought at the Battle of the Bulge, a charter member of St. Greg’s, was active in the St. Jude League and an active member of the Wisconsin Parkinson Association. Myron enjoyed painting, writing and storytelling as founder of Nine Mugwump Publishers. Myron’s family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to the entire staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King WI for the care given to Myron.
