Born in Madison WI, she resided for most of her life in Milwaukee. She received a Nursing degree from Marquette and met her first husband, Kenneth, at the VA hospital (Wood WI). Widowed in her early 40s, she returned to work as an RN while raising 4 rambunctious sons. She married Grant Miswald after retirement, enjoying a 2nd life of dancing and travel. She was an advocate of amnesty for war resistors in the mid ‘70s, a go-to interviewee for local television on the issue. Always positive, cheerful and nice (words most used to describe her, often preceded by “so”) she was happiest surrounded by family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Harbour House and Hometown Hospice for their care.
