On Sunday, October 30th Milda Kalve (nee Brenkis) age 97, was born to eternal life, preceding her in death was her husband Imants Kalve along with her brothers Peter and Janis Brenkis. She will be solemnly missed by her son Valdis Kalve, his wife Sandra Kalve (nee Balodis) and her granddaughter Liva Kalve. She will forever be in the hearts and prayers of her daughter Inta Huber (nee Kalve) along with her husband Phillip Huber and their children Reese and Gretta. Milda’s beautiful soul leaves behind nieces, nephews and extended family in the US, Canada and her beloved homeland, Latvia.
Services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Milwaukee Holy Trinity Latvian church (1853 N. 75th Street, Wauwatosa, WI). Visitation at 10 am with service to follow at 11. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to either Milwaukee Holy Trinity Latvian church (1853 N. 75th Street, Wauwatosa, WI) or Garezera Vasaras Vidusskola, (57732 Lone Tree Road, Three Rivers, MI 49093).
