Entered into his rest on Monday, October 24, 2022 at the age of 60. Cherished father of Amber Long and John Long (Biltu Hamda). Loving grandfather of Evelyn Dose.  Beloved son of Lynn Long and the late Garry (Sue) Long.  Dear brother of Erica Gainey. Dear uncle of Heather (Jon) Mead. Further survived by his former wife Sharon Long, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather to remember and celebrate Brett on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Parkway Apostolic Church 10940 S. Nicholson Road, Oak Creek, WI from 4:30 PM until time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.

Inurnment with military honors 11;00 AM, Monday, November 14, 2022 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery 21731 Spring Street Union Grove, WI 53182.

    My deepest condolences in the passing of Brett our dear brother. My condolences to his children and granddaughter and Sharon. His mother, brother and relatives and friends.
    May you all find peace and strength from the Lord Jesus who loves you and is the God of comfort.
    I loved seeing the pictures as it reminded me of his smile and eagerness to chat and being excited about Jesus.
    We can encourage one another with the promises of God, because we have a hope in eternal life. This life is short eternal life is forever and under much better conditions in the presence of our Creator and God.
