Thursday, May 16th, 2024 age 93 years. Loving wife of the late Leo “Scotty”. 

Dear mother of Walter (Kathleen) Muszynski, Jane (Daniel) Januszewski, Mark (Vickie) Muszynski and Jim (Kim) Muszynski.  

Grandmother of Adam, Kevin, Michael, April (Chris), Daryl (Morgan), Bryan (Jessica), Sara, Austin (Morgan), Mason, Melissa (Stephen) and Kacey. 

Great-grandma of Christian, Fiona, Gavin, Xander, Violet and Annabelle.

Sister of John Wolf and sister-in-law of Esther Kidd.

Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Matty was the youngest daughter of John and Agnes Wolf.  She was born April 24th, 1931 and was 1 of 11 siblings.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Lawrence, Andrew, Herman and her sisters Frances, Helen, Agnes, Mary, Margaret and Thecla.

Matty was a stay-at-home mom until her children were grown.  She then worked as a librarian aide at the Oak Creek Library from 1973 to her retirement in 1993.

She was a faithful member of St. Matthew Parish, Oak Creek since 1962.  She worked many fish frys and fish boils.  She also was a member of the Oak Creek Lionettes.

Matty loved to read, make macrame, play Yahtzee, listen to music and dance. One of her favorite things to do was clean.  Heaven will be the cleanest it’s ever been.

Her greatest joys in life were God, her family and friends.

A special thank you to the caregivers at Oak Creek Place & St. Croix Hospice who took such good care of Matty.

Visitation Thursday, May 30th from 3pm to 4:15pm at St Matthew Church, 9303 S. Chicago Ave., Oak Creek. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 4:30pm.  Private interment Friday May 31st, Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Matthew Catholic Church appreciated.

    I am so sorry to hear of Auntie Mattie’s passing. She always such a joy to be around. Sending heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family.
