On behalf of the Arthritis Foundation, we want to send our condolences and are deeply saddened by your loss. Mary was an active advocate for people facing pain and disability caused by arthritis and we are so grateful for the time and energy she gave to fighting for our cause. Most of the people Mary worked with have moved on but her legacy here remains. Mary will be in our hearts and her family in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Arthritis Foundation staff and volunteers

Mary and I have been more than very close friends. We have been strong sisters in Christ on our faith journey through this life. I could always count on Mary’ praying for me. I loved when we could share how God was working in our lives and the faith to trust Him with the many circumstances that we each faced over the years. Rejoicing that she is with our God in glory forever.

So nice of you to share this…

I have so many memories of Mary when she came to Kewanee to visit Grandma and Grandpa Jones. She was always full of laughter and happiness and had a great sense of humor. As we all grew up Mary was always coming to family events. The last two times I saw Mary was ten years ago. First, we were at a wedding and she sat at our table. My mom and dad really enjoyed seeing her. Then, just a few days later she came to my dad’s funeral even though there was a blizzard closing in on us. May God bless each of Mary’s family and give them comfort in their memories. With love, Sheryl (Fischer) Blahnik
