Mary Frances Kitchen of Alma Center, WI passed away in her home with her loving husband of 66 years by her side. Mary Herod was born in Milwaukee, WI in 1937. She attended Pulaski High School, where she met the love of her life, Dean Kitchen. They soon married and lived a full and happy life together. Mary’s spirit and memory lives on in her daughter, Debra Sikorski, and her grandsons Daniel (Erin) and Brett Sikorski, along with many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
Mary AKA “Min” or “Grandma” loved the outdoors, reading, cooking, shopping for the best deals, and going to the casino. With her incredible luck, she often treated Dean to dinner after a few hours at her favorite slot machine. Her bubbly personality, quick wit and easy laugh ensured that she was loved by all who met her and will be missed wholeheartedly.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 4 from 11:30-12:30 at, Heritage Funeral Home, 9200 S. 27th St., Oak Creek, WI. A memorial service in her honor will follow at 12:30PM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Lunch to follow.
I feel blessed that she came into my life. She brought smiles to my life.
