Marlyn Jean
Mathers

Mathers, Marlyn Jean,
(nee Bergmann). Passed away peacefully at home and was reunited with her late husband Russ on October 17, 2014. Born on October 28, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI. Loving mother of Cheryl (Michael) Maniscalco, Scott (Margaret) Mathers, and Wendy (Tim) Prater. Proud grandma of Ryan (Gina) Maniscalco and Tiera (Jordan) Gray; Clarke, Luke, Megan, and Alexander Mathers; and Trevor (Aurora) Prater and Brenna Prater. Special GG Marlyn to Chandler, Hudson, and Nolan Maniscalco, and Oliver Gray. Cherished sister of Audrey Randolph and Glenn Bergmann. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Alma (nee Egide) Bergmann and sister Joyce Jungkuntz. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Marlyn worked in the bakery at Kohl’s Food for 21 years, was a member of the Greenfield Women’s Club, and was generous donor to the newborn layette at Children’s Hospital. Marlyn enjoyed the simple things in life. Sweet as Moscoto, wise as an owl; she knitted through life with a smile. She will be missed and fondly remembered. Kind thanks to the staff at Vitas Hospice for their supportive help to the family. A visitation will be held Thursday October 30, 2014 from 4-6 PM at Memorial United Methodist Church 3450 S. 52nd Street, Greenfield, WI. A Celebration of Life will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to her church or The Red Door Foundation appreciated.
