Mark P. Wasmer
Departed this life on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at age 70. Survived by his son, Patrick (Megan) Wasmer; his stepson, Michael Werner; his granddaughter, Raven Werner; his former wife, Debbie; his siblings, Phil Wasmer and Jan Trout. Also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mark was a collector of things and unique knowledge; Mark was a lover of old things- cars, music, etc. From this love, he enjoyed many hobbies such as thrifting, photography, and classic cars specifically from the ’40s, ’50, and ’60’s (but not the popular ones). He owned a few of his favorite cars.
He had an eye for photography and took beautiful pictures. Some of his work was included in some contests.
Thrifting was in his blood to find treasures.
He will be remembered for his wit and beautiful penmanship.
A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5 pm – 7 pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (6615 W Oklahoma Ave. Milwaukee).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to H.H. Bennett Studio are appreciated.

Patrick, My condolences to you and Megan. I’m so sorry to learn of your dad’s passing. Not having the pleasure of knowing him, I see from the obituary where you got your love of ornate vehicles and general appreciation of the unique. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
