Margaret Pofahl (nee Klein)
Born to eternal life August 1, 2026 at the age of 77. Preceded in death by parents, Bertha and Edward Klein. Loving wife of Linda Plagman. Survived as well by her brother, Glenn, and other family members and friends. Margaret enjoyed her work as a psychotherapist and felt honored to have touched many lives through her vocation. She took great pride in her garden and many were gifted with vegetables she shared. The family wishes to thank the staff of Elizabeth Residence and St. Croix hospice for their attentive care. To honor her memory, the family suggests making a donation to the Humane Society of Milwaukee, from which Margaret adopted many of her beloved pets.

Margaret was my supervisor. She became one of the single most impactful persons in my life. In my very early 20s, she asked me one question–which showed me the door to possibilities I never imagined. Margaret is fully responsible for changing my life. I found this obituary because I dreamt of Margaret last night. First time ever. I’m now 66. It was clear, in full color. We shared a running joke in that dream. I could see her face clearly, as she was when we worked together. Thank you, Margaret, for letting me know you passed on. I am sorry for letting you down.
