Auntie Mae was all about riding the bus! She would visit her Kenosha parents and be dropped off within a block from their house.
Let’s talk coffee! There was a cup or mug within reach at any place that Mae visited. I am not sure who could speak German better, but Grandma Irene was sure to correct the daughter, Ruth or Mae, with the proper verb.
In looking back at old photos, we noticed that Mae was gorgeous! She has always been photogenic, Even in her later years, folks commented on her features.
Mae will be remembered as Christian, an educator, loving, and beloved.
She has been welcomed with open arms in heaven.
