Lovingly known as “Lucia”, “Babe”, “Lucy”
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at age 87, and joined her husband, Isadore “Izzy” Sorce. Loving Mom to Peter (Kathy) Sorce, and also survived by her daughter, Sandra Liebman.  Loving “Nanie” of Justin, the late Peter Frank, Alyssa, Christina, and Madelyn. Dear sister-in-law of Delores Macaione and Peter (Rose) Sorce.  Cherished aunt of Rick Foster, the late Debra Ruiz, Lisa Shepherd, Thomas Mason-Macaione, Steve Macaione, the late Lisa Macaione, Christopher Sorce, Lynette Carini and Leonard Sorce.  Also survived by her great-granddaughter Aubrey, and other loving relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Izzy; her parents Thomas and Rose (nee Italiano), both born in Sicily/Italy; her siblings, Mary Foster, Angie Iczkowski and Dominic Macaione and many other loving family members and friends.
Lucille was very proud of her Italian/Sicilian heritage as well as growing up and living in Milwaukee’s Lower East Side Italian community.  She was a long-time member of St. Rita’s Catholic church and the Italian Community Center as well as a charter member of the Pompeii Women’s Club, a past president of the Pompeii Women’s Club and a recipient of its prestigious Angel of the Year Award.
In her life, Lucille was a woman of many roles.  She was a wife, mother and nanie who loved and cared for her family immensely.  She also retired from Allen Bradley/Rockwell International.  She will also be remembered for her love of bowling, bocce and her outstanding cooking skills.
Private services are pending.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire Brighton Hospice nursing team and to the team at Grace Commons – Memory Care, Menomonee Falls.
