(nee McCabe) September 3, 2014, age 59. Beloved wife of James E. Ganey. Dear daughter of Pauline and the late Alvin McCabe. Loving mother of Mark (Jill) and Nicole Ganey. Dear grandmother of Jasmine, Payton, Justus and Levi. Fond sister of Katherine (the late Peter) Matthews, the late Robert (Kathy) McNeven and Fred (Carolyn) McCabe. Sister in law of Karen Jo, Rick and Lori Ganey. God mother of Montanya, Alyssa and Danny, Kyle, and Kegan. Also survived by nieces, nephews, any many other relatives and friends. Will be deeply missed by Murphy.

Visitation Friday September 12, from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home with Vigil at 6:30 PM. Memorial Service Saturday September 13th, 9 AM from the Funeral Home to ST MATTHEWS CHURCH, 9309 S. Chicago Rd., Oak Creek at 10 AM. Private Interment.
Retired Captain of the Milwaukee Sheriff’s Office. Memorials to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office K -9 Unit appreciated. Special thanks to Mandy and Horizon Hospice.

Lorraine and myself started at the MCSO together in 1986 working together many times in our long career. Lorraine was always kind, thoughtful, witty, smart and caring. Many use to refer to Lorraine as “Mama McCabe” because she would care for others and bend over backwards to help others in need. Also, our standard joke between ourselves would be “Does your tongue hurt” because we always had to bite our tongues, because of our tendency to speak our minds, and not what was politically correct. I will Miss you Lorraine, till we meet again….

Jimmy and family, I really cannot find the words. Sorry we are unable to attend the services. Know that all of you are in our hearts. Auntie Rainey meant the world to me. I have so many wonderful memories, she was always my happiness as a child and well forever. I knew when we would spend time together it was going to be what every child would want love, attention, and fun. So many trips, and vacations, and moments are locked in my heart for eternity. She influenced my life forever, the mother that I am today is because of the time and love she showed me. Dan is a K9 handler because of the ride along she set up for him. We owe so much to her. I am beyond grateful to have had her in my life. She will be missed dearly.
