(nee Proesel) May 14, 2014, age 53. Beloved wife of Bill. Beloved daughter of James and Shirley Proesel. Loving mother of Cori and Kevin Biersteker, and Nathan(Megan), Neil (Jessica), Shane and Brennen (Amber) Bachand. Dear grandma of Ella, Adessa, Aiden, Abel and Noah. Dear sister of Bruce, David (Terry) and Jimmy (Karen) Proesel. Sister in law of Barbara (Dave) Zupek, Jeri Bachand and Donald Bachand. Also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday, 3-7 PM at the FUNERAL HOME. Memorial Mass Wednesday, 10 AM at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CHURCH, 305 First St., Waterford.

I had a crush on Leiann when we were in grade school. I can still remember the day I first put my arm around her. We were on the School bus, coming home and we were sitting together in the back seat. I mustered up enough courage to put my arm around her. I was so proud I thought she was so pretty, plus she was a whole year older than me. I was the man I was with an older Women. I spent my childhood across the street from the Proesel family in Oak Creek. Our two families were very close. I have many memories but all so precious, especially those from the 60’s.
