Judith F. “Judy” Hooker

Judith Frances “Judy” Hooker, age 85, of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, entered into eternal rest on August 22, 2025, surrounded by love and prayers.

Born on November 25, 1939, in Milwaukee to Harvey and Clara Gruenewald. Judy spent her life rooted in the Milwaukee area, where she will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and steady presence.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Hooker; her parents; her brother, Paul Gruenewald, and her sister, Claire Zagorski. She is lovingly survived by her sister Charlotte (Bob) Artel, sister-in-law, Ann Gruenewald, brother-in-law, Thomas Zagorski, along with cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 12, at 1:00pm at St Mary’s Church, with visiting time staring at 12:30pm (9520 Forest Home Ave, Hales Corners, WI).

Judy’s legacy lives on in the family and the friends she touched with her gentle spirit and enduring faith.
